Forces: 6 naturally occurring forces, friction tests, forces versus distance travelled, balancing forces/movement, centre of gravity.

The Human Body: organs and their functions, digestion, pulse rate, food types, healthy living, hygiene, teeth, harmful substances.

Planets/Flight: number size and position of planets and the effect on temperature and gravity. Methods of flight, 4 forces of flight, lift, action and reaction, rocket launching, fair testing, calculating height by scale drawing.

History

Study skills - the methods used by historians to find out about the past. Chronology, complex time lines, artefacts, anachronism and sources of evidence.

 

The Tudors - Henry Tudor (Battle of Bosworth), The Tudor dynasty. Henry VIII and his 6 wives. The break with Rome. Sir Frances Drake. The Spanish Armada.
