Design and Technology has always been a strength of the Junior School. The current curriculum goes well beyond that of Key Stage Two and covers a great deal of Key Stage Three. We feel that Design and Technology should encourage all pupils to develop an awareness and an understanding of design through investigation, research, planning, making and evaluating. It should promote a curiosity, understanding, respect for the environment and an appreciation of our cultural and technological heritage. It should also develop a range of communication skills, practical skills and a knowledge and understanding of the world in which we live and the materials we use.
