There is a strong music tradition in the Junior School. We have our own choir and orchestra, which, along with the rock band, recorder, string and guitar groups, perform at the two concerts held during the year. The main aim of the music curriculum is to develop the enjoyment and understanding of the subject through active involvement, working individually and in groups. Likewise, we aim to develop performing skills, enabling pupils to participate in the wider range of musical activities available to them in school.
