Year 4 were treated to a fine day on a 'Medieval Village',

living the life of a peasant, harvesting in the fields, candle making and guarding the village from enemies and lepers.

' I enjoyed sitting at the high table with the Lord and hearing the jokes.They were funny.'

' The fun part of the day was throwing muddy straw at one of the cottars, as a punishment.'

' The worst part of the day was farming because it was back-breaking and really hard work'.
